Exercise education you can put into practice.
I created Movement Mentor to help active adults find an appropriate entry point for exercise, then progressively build toward the activities they enjoy.
My background as a physical therapist and strength coach informs how I explain movement, choose exercise options, and break down progressions into manageable steps.
Through Movement Mentor, I offer general movement education and self-directed exercise resources. The goal is to help you become more independent with exercise while continuing professional care when you need it.

Before you begin
A few things to know.
Is Movement Mentor physical therapy?
Movement Mentor provides general movement, exercise, and training education. Although its creator is a licensed physical therapist, these self-directed resources are not individualized physical therapy, diagnosis, or medical treatment.
Can I use these resources after finishing PT?
They're intended to support independent exercise, including for adults transitioning out of physical therapy. Follow your treating provider's recommendations and any activity restrictions. These resources do not replace your prescribed care.
Does the low-back tool tell me what's causing my pain?
No. The planned tool uses your responses to suggest general exercise options. It does not identify the cause of symptoms or decide whether you need medical care.
Can I buy the low-back tool now?
Not yet. The tool is in development, with a planned price of $40. Purchasing and access details will be available here once it's ready.
Do I have to start with the free Hip Reset?
No. It's an optional resource you can explore now. The upcoming low-back tool will have its own movement questions and exercise options.
